Cinnamon & Sugar Chocolate Crossiants

Cinnamon & Sugar Chocolate Crossiants

NHL playoffs are in full-swing so that means appetizers & treats!

Over the weekend I was trying to think of something super simple to make right before the hockey game started. I wanted something sweet and delicious! So I put together this FOUR ingredient sweet snack- Cinnamon & Sugar Chocolate Croissants!!

Since this recipe is so simple this will not be a long how-to post! It is, however, a great treat for kids to make and parents to enjoy!

First, preheat your oven to 375° – I used Pillsbury crescents and followed the baking instructions on the back.

Next, place all your crescent rolls, individually, on a non-stick cookie sheet.

Place your milk chocolate chips on each crescent, just like I’ve done in the photo below. You don’t want too many chocolate chips!

Once your chocolate chips are on all your crescent rolls you want to roll them up like you normally would, starting with the wider end. But, you need to fold the edges in when you first start to roll them up.

This will keep the chocolate inside the crescent rolls as it melts. See the photo below to understand what I mean by “fold”.

Now, Once all your crescents are rolled up, mix together your cinnamon and sugar. You want it to be equal parts sugar & cinnamon.

So, if you use 1 Tablespoon Sugar, you need 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon.

Sprinkle your Cinnamon & sugar mixture over the crescent rolls.

Lastly, bake your croissants about for 10-12 minutes, let them cool for a few minutes & enjoy!!
